Those Special Eyes

Those dark, small eyes. The kind that disappear when one smiles.
I want to know more about them.

I've seen them serious. Thinking about something important, pondering the right decision to make.
I've seen them playful. Trying to bring out the best smile on people's faces—and succeeding every single time.
I've seen them kind. Oh, that was one of the best. The warmth of them could reach anyone passing by. And it did.
I've seen them sad. They were sparkly. Not from happiness, but from tears. It didn't feel right; if only I could have done something about it.
I've seen them lie. I almost couldn't tell because I was too distracted by the smile. Almost.
I've seen them happy. That unforgettable genuine joy that makes time stop.
I've seen them. And yet, they hide so much more that I haven't seen.

And I still want to know more about them.
